Parasol Parasol is a Fine Lawn, 56″ wide. Fine lawn is a light weight pure cotton that is easy to sew with and suitable for all sewing abilities. At first touch fine lawn is often compared to a floaty silk. This fabric is a natural fibre which means it will softy drape around the body keeping you nice and cool in hot climates. Fine Lawn is perfect for skirts, dresses, blouses, summer wight trousers, shorts, scarves, lining and more. Wash at 30 degrees- minimum cut 0.50cm. Very pleased with this fabric. I made a shirt with it, which has been laundered and still looks like new. Great quality.

I bought the blue Parasol fabric and it’s beautiful to work with. I made the Simple Sew Amelia Tea dress and this fabric drapes well so I can swish about in it! The dress has a shirred midriff panel and the fabric shirred perfectly.
